AUDI 3.0 TFSI P0016, P0018

This codes could be because of damaged tensioner, VVT solenoid , or camshaft gear itself, But sometime all of this done, but code is still present, so there is a solution for it. First plug a scanner, find a channel for cam adjustment (094) .Adjustment could be positive or negative, so in my case it +12 for B2 Intake

Removed B2 Cam sensor and Brake Vacuum Pump so there is access to reluctor wheel on cam

Drill a little hole across middle of the groove, so we will know original position of the wheel

Because adaptation of a cam positive, cam gear should be moved counterclockwise

I used a 3/8 extension,

make sure it will be between a biggest teeth, and turn engine with long brake bar clockwise , this cam wheel doesn't hold good, so it not hard to move it back a little

so about this much usually fix a correlation code, about 10 degree opposite of direction of travel
